Building on this mission, the brief for this project was to design a product line that could be distributed through these markets. The challenge was to translate the organization’s core values into a tangible offering—identifying key principles to highlight while refining the target audience for greater impact. To develop the concept, I explored various word associations, and the idea of bubbles naturally emerged. Like those in a kombucha beverage, they cluster, expand, and pop on their own. The word “fizz” came to mind, evoking effervescence, which led to the idea of a kombucha line inspired by bold, exploratory flavor combinations.

The brand evolved into a bold, approachable identity that encourages stepping out of your comfort zone, promising pleasantly surprising flavor combinations. The bubble concept was translated into abstract, illustrative graphic elements that evoke a sense of clustering, with each flavor represented by its own distinct color palette. The selected typeface—a tight serif—mirrored the idea of unlikely pairings: playful yet elevated. Ultimately, the bold combinations conveyed a message of celebrating the unexpected, showing that anything is possible when exploring new flavors. This project taught me that exploration—whether in brand identity or design decisions—is always a path worth taking, often leading to surprising and satisfying outcomes. It reinforced the value of daring to explore.
